Welcome to the Knights Templar Summer School's Blog. Gifted and Talented pupils from primary schools in the area have been given the opportunity to explore their skills in Sport, Performing Arts and Media. Throughout this experience, the children have learnt a variety of skills which have been designed to help them build on their knowlege and prepare them for secondary school.

Orla Edin

My Summer School Diary:
Saturday : on Saturday we did some games in the old gym etc, We did this game were we could only use a mat and a bench to try and get across the hall with out touching the floor , after wards we did basket ball  and learnt how to shoot every time without missing .

Monday: on Monday we went to Riddlins and firstly we did long jump and learnt with Alice and Poppy how to do it properly. After this we did some sprinting and then some javelin. We did a relay and then left to have lunch. We did some wheelchair basketball in the new gym and it was really fun.                 

 Tuesday: on Tuesday we went swimming and had loads of fun in the pool.  After this we went back to KTS. We then did some dodge ball. After we had lunch, we did media and later we went cycling.

Wednesday: on Wednesday we went across the road and played football on the astro turf, after this we had a break and then went to do some gymnastics to practice for the performance. We then played more dodge ball.  After we had lunch, we had media with Miss Stevens, we then did some tae kwon do.

Thursday:  Today we went to Riddlins and did some different activities ECT high jump, long jump, sprint and javelin.
